Satires are a great way to take a serious topic and make it into something humorous. This can actually teach somebody that their actions or the way something works is ridiculous. This sometimes can be more helpful at getting your point across than presenting facts. I liked the website about the animals a lot. I think this is a great way to show people how the scool system is flawed. I have never even thought about that until I read this website. Not everyone can be good at everything but schools are more focused on making a person well rounded than letting them be fantastic at one thing. It also cuts a lot of creativity. The eagle fining his own way to the top of the tree reminds me of math class. Some of my teachers would mark my problems wrong if I didn't solve them the way the wanted. I really have never thought of this an it has opened my eyes about the education system. That is what makes it a great satire.
But, my favorite was the video I think that this video shows truly how crazy the college system is. But on the other hand, they are making fun of how people think college is when in the most part it's not. I think I will use a similar idea when I make my satire about what men and women are doing at school. The commercial for the college used PAGE.
